Online access to the oldest scientific manuscript in the National Library (NLW MS 735C), which contains various Latin texts on astronomy. This Web resource is part of the Digital Mirror online collection of the National Library of Wales. The digital edition of the text has been made accessible for those with a 56k web connection or slower, or those who have access to a broad band connection, via two separate links. The main page of the digitised version offers full details for referencing and access to each page by folio number. The volume, written in Caroline minuscule, consists of two sections, the first (ff. 1-26) copied c. 1000, in the Limoges area of France, probably in the milieu of Adémar de Chabannes (989-1034), whilst the second (ff. 27-50), from a scriptorium in the same region, may be dated c. 1150.Images are in jpeg. 100 images.
